I'm not gonna lie, I'm horrible about "adjusting" in public. And by horrible, I mean I pretty much just go for it and tug/fix/move/scratch my balls in public without ever really thinking about the consequences. It wasn't until recently when I was simultaneously walking my dog (not a euphemism) and full on hands down my pants fixing my junk that I got quizzical/nasty look from a passerby. At which point I decided that maybe I should work on being a bit more discreet about it. Luckily, I stumbled upon this handy "how to" that offers some hilarious tips about getting the job done in various settings:

Do you have any tips on how to adjust in public? Help your fellow man in the comments below.

It doesn't matter what age you are, Tom of Finland is something that every gay guy knows about. I don't know about you but I always dreamt that these icons and erotic drawings would jump off the page and into the real world. With a new movie coming out about Touko Laaksonen, the man behind the pencil, we're one step closer to that dream.

"Until the year 1971, being gay in Finland could land you in jail for years. There was a boy born in 1920. In his childhood, he drew pictures of naked men. While drawing, he wore only leather man boots. As a young man, he fought in the war and had sex with his fellow soldiers, both Finnish and German. During his adulthood, he lived a double life. By day, a talented advertising artist and a pianist, by night a genius creator of erotic drawings. We remember him through leather, huge muscles, even larger cocks and humour — empowering the masculine gay man. We know who Tom of Finland is. Now meet Touko."

It's a true testament to his art and talent that these drawings came to define a generation and culture of gay men and, like the description says, empower the masculine gay man.

What are your first memories of Tom of Finland?

A bit of a non sequitur from our usual posts but this is just too amazing to not mention. As previous mentioned: this mermaid has a boyfriend. Meet Eric, the subject of last night's My Crazy Obsession which aired on TLC. I'll let the trailer tell you the rest:

See guys, if a merman can find a real man, there's hope for us all.

While we're on the subject, what's your crazy obsession?

Evil Twink MISTER video Taylor Lautner

Heeeeee's baaaaack! Evil Twink returns and hilarious hijinks ensue when he meets our MISTER. He even learns a valuable lesson about app etiquette. Well sort of. You'll see:

Seriously though - ain't that often the case? You meet a guy online and he says he wants a relationship, but the first picture he shows is his ass cheeks spread wide enough for hole highlighting. So much for getting to know someone. On our site we offer the opportunity to show a variety of photos (up to 25) so you can showcase more than just some headless torso shots and a few dick pics. Though if that's what you want to showcase, I don't think there's a one of us who can say we don't want to see some dick. But we encourage you to show some personality in your photos as well, like our MISTER does above. Our aim has always been to create fuller profiles so when you're chatting someone up you have more to than just stats to go off of. It's so easy to forget sometimes that there's an actual human on the other end of our screens and in the end, a fully formed profile helps make things less transactional and hopefully more real.

And for the record, we're big fans of Evil Twink. Well maybe not the evil part of him, but what you see is what you get with him. And being your true self is something we always admire and more importantly welcome. Just don't be a dick about it.

Last month, CEO Carl Sandler visited London and loved the guys he met there. Not only were they handsome, natural, and oozing sensuality, but many had this modern artistic flair. Everyone seemed to be creating something - big or small. And East London was especially brimming with energy. That's one of the reasons we chose to throw our first International MISTER Launch Event there - right in the heart of East London at this beautiful photo studio/event space.

We asked DJ Borja Peña (pictured) to help us do the event and he, and event producer Wayne Shires, went wild - enlisting DJs from across Europe and filling a second room with awesome London-based talent. They pulled in performance artists like John Jon to amp up the funky. Then Borja told us, "We have to have porn star strippers. It's got to feel sexy." OK. Check. "Can you make MISTER boxers? Old school - like in (the movie) 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith'." Done. It's been fun.

We wanted to pull back the curtain on this sexy Spanish Londoner so we went hunting for some of his stuff online. We found this totally bizarre, yet uncontrollably erotic video. He teamed up with DJ TOM STEPHAN (also spinning at the MISTER event) to create the music. Foxy. Jam to the beats in the...

There was a time when I was thought country was a terribly hokey, ridiculously twangy genre of music. And no matter how many of my friends were listening to it, my natural instinct was to change the station as soon as it came in contact with my pop loving ears. 15 years later you'll find my iTunes filled with Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, and Lady Antebellum. Somewhere between Shania Twain and Faith Hill country music started becoming a bit more palatable to my ears. What's more, as I became more open minded to the music, the music seemed to become more open minded to, well, me.

With Carrie Underwood coming out in support of gay marriage, The Rascal Flatts coming out with an equality anthem, and Cheryl Wright just plain coming out, country music is gayer than ever. And that's where Drake Jensen comes in: country's newest, hottest daddy of a music star.

Born in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada, Jensen has become a unique figure in the world of Country Music as an out gay man. As a voice for the LGBT community, he's opening up a new way of storytelling for country music fans. And that voice by the way, is a pretty sexy one. His second album comes out in early 2013, but you can check out his lead single, "Pancho and...

I'd say you're a pretty big deal when you make it onto Entertainment Weekly's Must List and perform on Letterman in the same week. I guess you could say the Blowoff mastermind, Bob Mould, is blowing up. His new album, Silver Age, came out last week and, along with his Blowoff duties, he'll be touring all fall to support the album. You can expect the classic Sugar album Copper Blue to be played front to back with an additional set mixing the new Silver Age material with Husker Du, Sugar and Mould solo classics completing the evening.

We at Daddyhunt have been big fans of the Blowoff party for years now. Mould and his co-pilot Rich Morel spin the perfect alternative to the, no offense, "pots and pans" sounds that blast from every other circuit party. Whether it our DJs at the helm, or the crowd it attracts (which is an attractive crowd), there's something special about what they're doing that create the perfect dance/bar environment. If you're in NYC, I'll see you there this Friday.

All in all, it's pretty exciting that one of our own is getting the press and praise he deserves!

You can check out the video for his new single, "The Descent" below along with tour dates if you're interested in seeing him live:

As someone who's starting to get back into the travel game, I've been finding it hard to plan the gay parts of my destinations. Last Summer, I spent the week in Barcelona and while it was an incredible trip, I still felt we hadn't mined the gay-friendly city as much as we should have. You'd think with well-traveled friends and the internet at my disposal I'd be be perfectly set but I still felt like I was at a bit of a loss for where to go and what to do. There's plenty out there on the internet but that actually ends up being the problem. Aside from listings, it's hard to get a sense of what's offered and if the destination is any good. I even downloaded a few travel apps for my iPad/Phone, but found them sorely lacking in gay recommendations for the most part.

I stopped reading travel magazines ages ago for two reasons: I wanted to go everywhere and couldn't afford anywhere. But last year's trip to Spain reignited my passion for travel and I made a promise to myself to get out of the country at least once a year. So I started to research destinations and find a trusted source for gay travel. There's Out Traveler, but I haven't seen a printed issue in some time, so I think they may be web only at this point.

Enter ManAboutWorld, a travel magazine made just for iPad and now I'm excited. Created by Billy Kolber and Ed Salvato, (you'll remember Billy from his brief writing stint here on Age Appropriate were he gave us cool tips & tricks) this is a really...

Oh the joys of discovering new gay hotness on the internet! Meet Gerald McCullouch. Many of you will recognize him from his role in Bear City, or his work on CSI, or best of all, his critically acclaimed play Daddy (which had runs in both LA and NYC). But if he's new to you, like he is to me, you're welcome. He's been making the rounds promoting Bear City 2 (which filmed in my beloved Provincetown) and was just on The Candi & Randy Show doing a delightful interview about the movie, bears, and plenty more. Sadly, it's just a radio interview so you can't stare at this lovely looking man, but still enjoyable nonetheless! But since we need a little skin, check out the trailer for Bear City 2 below for even more fun and fur.

Was anybody there when they filmed? I know they were recruiting bears to be extras here in NYC and Provincetown. Let us know about your experience if so.
