Omtex Jockstraps

Where my jockstrap lovers at? Seriously, I hope at least 90% of you are raising your hands at the computer screen right now. Is it the locker room fantasies that are so tightly tied to them or the beautiful window they create framing such fine daddy asses? Perhaps it's the fun that comes with using one as a saddle of sorts. Whatever the reason, dem jocks can make for a steamy session of fun. Our friends over at were kind enough to indulge our love/fetish for them and we're giving away a 4-pack of Omtex Gym Supporters (one of each color - black, blue, grey and white) to 3 lucky Daddyhunt members. But only if you promise to share pics of you in them if you win. Kidding. Sort of.

And because we love a good love story involving jockstraps, here's a little background from business partners and couple Adrian and John, "Our goal with Jockstrap Central was to not only create an online store that was easy use, with personalized customer service, but to also create one that was as sexually charged as the products we were carrying. Sure, there's lots of guys who love jockstraps for their comfort and support, but even the die-hard sports jock wearers can't deny how horned up they feel in them. Although we're not a porn site and we don't show gratuitous nudity, we sell a lot of mesh and erotic items and our models aren't afraid to show off the see-through fabrics or demonstrate how the latest enhancing jock with built in cockring works."

To win the Omtex Supporters...

If living green were easy, everyone would do it. (Reminds me of that old ad Cher did for some gym chain – saying something like “if a good body came in a bottle, everyone would have one.” Could that have been a catalyst for the steroidal Gay ‘90s? Hmm. I digress...) Yes, living green can be difficult and not always pleasant. But if there were some easy things you could do that didn’t cost much, offered a significant reduction in your carbon impact, and didn’t impinge on your comfort… Wouldn’t you? Shouldn’t you? Here’s my list of five this summer:

1. Use solar power to dry your clothes.
It’s summer. The sun is shining. In huge parts of the US, it’s been like an oven outside. And while it may be amusing to cook an egg on the sidewalk, it’s not going to replace your stove. But a simple clothesline can replace your dryer. There’s video of me hanging laundry on mine at BillyKnowsBest (slightly more interesting than watching paint dry).

2. Get a programmable thermostat.
Personally, I don’t really like air conditioning, and I avoid it as much as possible. And I’m not going to judge you for how low you set your thermostat. But there’s an easy way to save while you’re at work (or a sleep over) and still have your home cool when you get home. Buy a programmable thermostat and you reduce your a/c bill two ways: Preset times to raise and lower your home’s temperature every day of the week (if you’re chronologically...

Lord knows its too hot to masturbate right now in most of the world, but this new book may force you to get all kinds of sweaty with yourself. Kevin Clarke's new book PORN: From Andy Warhol to X-Tube is just the tome I've been looking for. In it he takes a look at the history of porn and how the industry has evolved along with its stars. And as we go through the history, he explores some interesting topics. For instance, with the amount of amateur porn out there (and how easily it can accessed), what does that mean for the rest of the industry? With tons of pictures and interviews with some of our favorite names in porn, we get a really well rounded view of the porn we love so dear. And we do love it dearly, don't we?

I often think about the ways that porn has changed the way we interact with our sexual partners. In some ways, I think it sets an interesting expectation. Add to that the fact that we've become so good at getting ourselves off (with porn's assistance) that it can make for being physically intimate with an actual human a challenge for some. I guess at the end of the day, porn does a great job of reflecting our society. Think about how much of a stigma there used to be decades ago versus now. Seems like as our community has come out and proud, so too has the porn industry. It's no longer taboo.

What do you think about porn's effect on our sex lives? Are we better for it? And to keep things...

Plain and simple: musicians are hot. They pretty much melt my heart. And Dave Koz, the daddy saxophonist who's been around for the past two decades is capable of this as well. Truth is, I'm a sucker for easy listening and power ballads. I love a Michael Bolton or a Peabo Bryson and I'm not ashamed to admit it. The fact that Dave's new single, "This Guy's in Love With You," is a Burt Burt Bacharach cover, well, you pretty much would have had me a at Burt Bacharach. And better still, he's dedicating this single to marriage equality and fills the video with a diverse mix of people from all walks of life.

Who's with me on the easy listening love? Come out and be proud with me in the comments.

I’ve always loved to travel – not just the exploring new places part, but the travel itself: I love being on a ship, train, plane – even a bus – and even exploring the terminals they arrive and depart from. There’s something exciting and life-affirming for me about the actual movement of travel, and the different vistas, perspectives and cultures it exposes. From what I've seen, not too many people share that perspective – for them, travel seems uncomfortable and disorienting even sickening – literally.

Wherever you fall on the travel as pleasure or pain spectrum, there are some things I’ve learned to do and use to make my travel experiences more pleasurable. I write about them often on, but with the summer travel season in full swing, I’m sharing seven of them here. Please share some of yours in the comments!

Before You Board

1. Reconfirm your travel arrangements.
Reconfirm your flight before leaving for the airport. Call or email your hotel the night before your arrival to make sure your room is in order, and that it will be held if you arrive late. Double-check your documents. It’s (almost) always easier to handle problems with more lead time.

2. You can catch more flies with honey then vinegar.
You are always at the mercy of the person behind the counter. Immigration, airline gate agents, hotel check-in clerks all have the power to make or break your experience. So be nice – even if they’re not. It will serve you better...

It's been a slow and steady climb, but these past few years have made Asbury Park, New Jersey one of the best East coast summer gaytaways. It's got the perfection proportions of beach, nightlife and gays making it one of the most enjoyable and relaxing vacations around. I've been going down there for the past few years and every summer it seems to get better and better. And the guys? Well they seem to be getting better and better as well. With an influx of men from the tri-state area, including a high number of hot Daddy-types, the beaches there provide plenty of eye candy and connections.

Next weekend (July 22 - 24) brings one of their most popular weekends, Sandblast, and it's one of my favorites. What began as a showcase for this wonderful gay-friendly beach town, has become quite the party weekend force to be reckoned with. Because now in addition to the annual beach party, they've packed in a whole weekend of gay summer fun, including the Daddyhunt sponsored Riptide Pool Party. And if you're a fan of Logo's A-List Austin will be there to join in on the fun (word around town is he likes to get naked). And we just heard from host hotel, the Berekeley Oceanfront, that there are only 50 rooms left, so if you're thinking of booking, do it ASAP!

Now onto the fun of winning some tix and your chance to dance and frolic in the sand. Just tell us which beach attire you prefer and why: speedos or board shorts?

Oh and...

Winner Rocky LaBarre

A while back we asked for your help as we searched for the next DILF (Dad I Like (to) Fuck) poster man for The Faultline's monthly DILF party. We are pleased to announce our winner Daddyhunt member Rocky LaBarre! You can find Rocky here on our site under username RockyLabarre.

We had a chance to ask the new DILF poster man some questions:

Where are you from? Where do you live now?
I'm from a small town which is cute to visit but was horrific to grow up in. I live in New York City which is a cute city to visit need a sense of humor to live in NYC.

When did you start identifying as a Daddy?
I was 28 the first time a guy called me Daddy. He was 25 so it threw me. He said, "You just are a Daddy...don't try to figure it out."

What's your favorite thing about being a Daddy?
I enjoy giving and receiving respect from other Daddies. I also love when younger "boys" turn into "boy-pussy" when there's a Daddy around. It's embarrassing that my ego loves that so much but it makes my dick brick hard when they give you that "will you teach me" look.
I also love that at my age I KNOW that I give better sex than I did in my 20's. Experience is pure gold in bed.

What do you do for fun?
I'm a Gym-Daddy. I love everything about the gym: Hot Daddies, young...

gay cliques

It's been said that being out in the gay world can be a little like high school. There are plenty of bitchy insecure girls, and more often then not we're sub-categorized into different cliques. Cliques has a pretty negative connotation, but when you break it down, it's kind of true that generally we like to hang with our own kind. Just look at we Daddies, Hunters, and Bears on this site. We like to be with like-minded people, which really isn't such a bad thing at all. So while I'm not a huge fan of the word clique in this instance, I think this radar chart that Noodles and Beef did is pretty fun. What's more is that he's trying to make it even better by fine tuning his original chart for better accuracy. He's asking the gays to participate in his survey (which will only take a few short minutes) to help define these subgroups a little better. I love these kinds of charts and will definitely be reposting the updated version when it comes out, so if you have the time please help a beefy brother out.

How do you feel about the emergence of gay subcultures? We'll definitely have a larger discussion about how they effect the community at large when the new chart comes out so be sure to throw your two cents in.
